GlassTemple - Maha Raja Kaliamman

The GlassTemple in Jalan Tebrau Johor Bahru. Her name is Maha Raja Kaliamman.
There are 9 Myammar Craft-man spent more than 1 year to complete renovation of this temple.
The 87-year-old temple, which has recently undergone a massive renovation, is set for official opening on 25th October 2009.




More than 30,000 devotees thronged the Arulmigu Sri Raja Kaliamman Temple better known as the "glass temple" in Johor, whose structure is 90 per cent made of glass.


Around 300,000 pieces of glasses, consisting in blue, red, yellow, green, purple and white colours, adorn the temple.






Arulmigu Sri RajaKaliamman Temple is one of the oldest temples located in the State of Johor, Malaysia. It has been in existence since 1922 on a piece of land bequeath to the Indians in Johore Bahru by the generosity of the Sultan of Johore.



Fa Yu Chan Si - Malaysia Angkorwat

"She Li Zi " is in side the Crystal Pagoda. Those little colorfull balls are the "She Li Zi" from the brain of the Buddha. Myamar donated it to Fa Yu Chan Si. This means you are very close to the Buddha.
This is Damo Statue in carving of Longan tree.
This Mi Le Fo Statue is made of "Zhi Sha". One kind of expensive of Soil that usually used to make Chinese Tea Pot. According to Indian community, he is called "Kubena" who is very rich.
These 5 statues of God is representing East, South, North, West and Center. If you want to have better Good Luck, you can try to put both palms together and round the statues for 3 rounds.

This turtle may have more than thousand year of history. It has not been verify by the archeologist yet. There is some Chinese characters indication on her back. Chinese believes turtle is representing long live, know the future and before.

If someone knocks your back for a few knocks and ask you some questions about the future or before, do not be so happy yet.!!! He/She may treats you like the turtle can tell future and before.....hahahaha!

In the story of legend, Tang Shan Zhang also riding turtle to across the river to collect the sutras for Tang Dynasty.

The turtle was carrying Tang Shan Zhang to across the river to see the Buddha and collect the Sutras, the turtle asked a favor from Tang Shan Zhang, which was to asked Buddha when he can become fairy. So, happened Tang Shan Zhang has forgotten his promised. The turtle was very angry because Tang Shan Zhang only cared about his own matter; other matter such as his promised was never in his mind.

The turtle sink down to the river and eat all the sutras except the sutra “Mano Amitaba”.
Therefore, this is the only real sutra for Chinese. ( Note :This is story to tell only)
