GlassTemple - Maha Raja Kaliamman

The GlassTemple in Jalan Tebrau Johor Bahru. Her name is Maha Raja Kaliamman.
There are 9 Myammar Craft-man spent more than 1 year to complete renovation of this temple.
The 87-year-old temple, which has recently undergone a massive renovation, is set for official opening on 25th October 2009.




More than 30,000 devotees thronged the Arulmigu Sri Raja Kaliamman Temple better known as the "glass temple" in Johor, whose structure is 90 per cent made of glass.


Around 300,000 pieces of glasses, consisting in blue, red, yellow, green, purple and white colours, adorn the temple.






Arulmigu Sri RajaKaliamman Temple is one of the oldest temples located in the State of Johor, Malaysia. It has been in existence since 1922 on a piece of land bequeath to the Indians in Johore Bahru by the generosity of the Sultan of Johore.
